Properties

The Haverhill Housing Authority owns and manages 434 apartments throughout the city. We have 296 1BR apartments for elderly and non-elderly disabled households. We also have 138 family units including 66/2BR, 67/3BR and 5/4BR apartments.

Elderly/Disabled Developments

We have four elderly/disabled developments in different city neighborhoods. These are all state-aided Chapter 667 units.

Bradford Terrace is on South Webster Street and Greystone Avenue in Bradford.

Kennedy Circle

Kennedy Circle is located in Riverside not far from the Haverhill Stadium.

Julian Steele is onWashington Street at Lowell Avenue near the Westgate Plaza.

Washington Square
Washington Square

Washington Square is located downtown at Washington and Essex Streets. It is our only accessible development.

Family Developments

Our family housing portfolio is located at four sites around the city but most apartments are located near downtown. These units are under the state-aided Chapter 200 and 705 programs.

Hilldale Avenue, Brookdale Lane & Brook Street

Hilldale Avenue, Brookdale Lane & Brook Street is just outside of LaFayette Square. It has 34/2BR and 34/3BR apartments in four unit townhouses.

South Warren Street
South Warren Street

South Warren Street is located in Bradford near Bradford Square. It has three buildings with 6/3BR and 4/4BR apartments.

Summer & Mount Vernon Streets

Summer and Mount Vernon Streets is comprised of two 18-unit apartment buildings near City Hall. They were built in the three-story walkup style with 20/2BR and 16/3BR apartments with off street parking.

Brook Street, Albert Avenue and Tremont Street are twelve duplexes with 12/2BR, 11/3BR and 1/4BR apartments. Four buildings are at the Tremont Street site and the rest are adjacent to our Hilldale Avenue complex.
